Scott sent it to me as an attachment and I saved it to My Documents, so how do I put that in the the font folder in Windows? This is probably a stupid question but they changed the Picture It! program since then and I can't even get some features that I used to get. Go figure. I'll poke around and see what's up, but in the meantime I have no clue how to add fonts to a Windows folder. Never done it before, you see? If I did, I totally forgot how to do it...but I'm pretty sure I've never done that task before.

If it's a TT, all you have to do is right click on the file & left click "Install". It SHOULD automatically copy/install it there. Font lists don't automatically update themselves, so you'll need to reboot the computer before you see it.

I have that program too. Simply open up the attachment in My Documents and then drag the file into the Windows font folder. Just like putting a file into a file folder, Windows will recognize the font right away and you're ready to go. How to drag a file into another folder: 1. Locate the folder where you downloaded it. My Documents for example. Open the folder and you'll see the document, it looks like paper. 2. Next locate the folder where you want to put the file. For example the Font folder located inside the Windows folder. With your mouse click on the document(the paper) and drag it into the Font folder, this is done by holding your finger down on the left button of your mouse. 3. Voila! the file is ready for you to use.

I just dragged the file into the Windows font folder and was able to use it right away.

Hey it worked! I followed those steps Athene and it worked! The darn thing worked! Now I got Battlestar font and it's rockin'! I can start on those banners when I get the time to do that. December has been hectic and crowded, and there were lots of things to do and did I mention there were large crowds? It's amazing I got anything done!
New Years will be big parties and I just know I'm going to have to get 20 hours of sleep afterward! LOL! Anyway I got the fonts in there and it should be all good to go. See you all later!
